The Volcanic Ash Avoidance Computer Based Training (CBT) for pilots covers both general and aviation-specific information on aircraft operations during volcanic ash. In addition to the theoretical knowledge on Volcanic Ash Avoidance procedures (on ground and in-flight), the CBT teaches hazards of volcanic ash, the ways to identify volcanic ash encounter and theoretical knowledge on volcanoes.
